When visionary architect László Toth and his wife Erzsébet flee post-war Europe in 1947 to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern America, their lives are forever changed by a mysterious, wealthy client. Filming took place over a total of 34 days between March 16 and May 5, 2023.

Blumberg’s music contributes to this, so the theatre would certainly be its perfect habitat
The 70mm format suits the setting and makes the film visually stunning along with bold camerawork and stunning photography. The script offers interesting characters (although the supporting ones are purely cosmetic) valorized by great performances by Brody and Pearce.

The problem here is in the last hour, as the writers decided to insert unexplored subplots that will prevent the film from having a proper conclusion, thus leaving a bitter feeling of incompleteness and preventing this monumental project from achieving what was intended.
