CIA agent Joe tries to balance his personal and professional life as the spearhead of the agency's war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped create more authentic gun handling, house cleaning, situational awareness, crew-based activities, etc. Premios Soberano (2024) mentioned. I waited until episode 4 to really immerse myself in it for any length of time. The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift we were given by the many A-list actors who helped create this production, which, by the way, is loved by many and is well-received despite mixed reviews. Many viewers have had stories told from a similar angle, but this one remains exciting when you tackle a more complex but well-connected storyline with female characters who each confidently grab our attention as they appear. With it halfway through, we can't say whether that sense of urgency as we learn more and more of what's going on will remain at the level it is now, but given the subject matter at hand, the budget, and the talent pool they've managed to bring to the screen, it's going to be hard to miss the landing, largely due to the series' solid foundation.
